The Forum Suisse de politique international/Swiss Forum for International Affairs (FSPI) is an independent information and reflection group dealing with international relations. It is a full-fledged member of International Geneva, where foreign and Swiss nationals meet regularly to reflect on and refine their understanding of global issues.

The association was created in 1997 by Edouard Brunner, former Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Pierre Keller, a Banker, and Alain Nicollier, Coordinator. It is now chaired by Bertrand Louis, Former Swiss Ambassador, who took over from Ambassador Luzius Wasescha in January 2016. It is headquartered in Geneva.

FSPI members are essentially international relations practitioners: diplomats, international civil servants, non-governmental organizations’ staff working on humanitarian, environment or development issues, academics, business people from industry, banking or trade.

The main activity of FSPI is to organize debate-luncheons and conferences on current international policy issues.
